Land Clearing in Osawatomie, KS
Osawatomie sits where Pottawatomie Creek meets the Marais des Cygnes River, about 50 miles south of our Shawnee shop. That means a lot of the land around town is either creek bottom or the timbered slopes above it, and both come with their own clearing challenges.
Bottom ground grows thick with silver maple, cottonwood, hackberry and honeysuckle, and it stays soft after rain. We schedule that work for drier stretches and use tracked equipment so we're not tearing up the field getting in and out. Upland pasture is more likely to have cedar, hedge and scattered brush, which we can clear selectively or take down to bare ground.
Common jobs here include opening up acreage for a new home, clearing fence lines so new fence can go in straight, and reclaiming pasture for cattle or hay. We can also grade the cleared ground, build a gravel drive, or dig a pond while the equipment is on site. For a free estimate in Osawatomie or elsewhere in Miami County, call (913) 912-3820.
