Land Clearing in Ottawa, KS

Ottawa sits about 50 miles southwest of our shop in Shawnee, right off I-35 in Franklin County, and a lot of the land around it is old pasture and crop ground that has grown up in hedge rows, eastern red cedar and brush. That's the clearing we do most here: opening up acreage for a new home or shop, reclaiming pasture that cedars have taken over, and pulling out old Osage orange fence lines that are too tough for a brush hog.

Ground along the Marais des Cygnes River and its creeks tends to stay wet and soft well into spring, so we plan heavy work around conditions to avoid rutting your property. Away from the bottoms, limestone often sits close to the surface. If we hit rock while pulling stumps or cutting a building pad, we break it on site instead of sending you to a second contractor.
